Practical information
Covid19 update: Consultations are possible again at Fysio Scheveningen and Mundo. We are complying with all the hygiene measures to ensure patient safety, sanitizing the practice after every patient and using protective equipment. We recommend you to bring your own towel and face mask. We kindly ask you to come alone and cancel your appointment on time in case you have symptoms. We are available for online appointments on demand.
Rates & Conditions
Insurance: We have contracts with all Dutch health insurance companies (except Menzis). If we don’t have a contract with a specific company, you can send the bill of the appointment to your insurance and they will cover most of it (from 60 to 100%, depending on your policy).
Please note that the basic coverage in Netherlands does not include physiotherapy. You need the aanvullende (extra) policy to be covered, and the number of treatments covered per year vary among insurance companies.
Urine incontinence is covered by a basic insurance policy: The basic insurance can cover pelvic physiotherapy (for a total of 9 treatments) if your main complaint is urinary incontinence, but only once you have paid for your “own risk” amount. Please note that in this case you do need a referral from your doctor.
If you are not insured, the following rates are applied:
Pelvic physiotherapy treatment (30 min) €55
Intake (1 hour) with or without referral €105 (€50 intake + €55 treatment session)
Home treatment €70
No-show €40Payment: For patients with international insurance or not insured for physiotherapy, bills are sent by email within 2 months after the appointment took place. We don’t handle cash at the clinic.
Cancellation policy: let us know at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel your appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours will be charged 37 euros.
Appointments
Registration: you can register and set an appointment at the most convenient time for you via James, or contact the clinic.
Locations: We are available for private consultations in The Hague (NL), either at our practice (Monday through Thursday) or at Femme Verloskundigen (Fridays).
Home visits: If you have recently given birth and are in pain, we can visit you at home (Scheveningen/Belgische Park/Den Haag centrum).
Duration: The first appointment lasts 45 min-1h and has a higher rate (intake + treatment). Follow-up consultations last 30 min and are charged a standard rate.
What should I bring? Comfortable clothes and your BSN number if you haven’t registered yet via James, our scheduling tool.
Children: Feel free to bring your child along. We have toys for kids from 1 year on. Keep in mind that you might need to focus on exercises during the appointment.

Perinatal Physio - Mundo verloskundigen
Our practice is located at Villa Rosina, a beautiful building on the Scheveningseweg. We work hand in hand with Mundo midwives, a well known midwife practice in The Hague. The team is a group of caring professionals who stand for custom-made obstetric care. They offer extra services such as ultrasound and blood sampling on site. We’ve been working together for the last 6 years to provide high quality perinatal care.

Femme Verloskundigen
We offer consultations on Fridays at Femme, a midwife practice located in the centre of The Hague and at HMC Westinde hospital.
