Insured

You do not need a referral from your doctor to make an appointment with us, you can do it directly.

We have contracts with all Dutch health insurance companies (except Menzis). If you are insured with Menzis or an international insurance, you can send the bill of the appointment to your insurance and they will cover most of it (from 60 to 100%, depending on your policy).

Please note that the basic coverage in Netherlands does not include physiotherapy except for urinary incontinence (see below). You need the aanvullende (extra) policy to be covered, and the number of treatments covered per year vary among insurance companies. Check with your insurer.

Hypnotherapy for pelvic conditions is a treatment modality we use within our pelvic physiotherapy practice, so sessions will be covered by insurance if your policy includes physiotherapy.

Basic insurance & pelvic physiotherapy

The basic coverage in Netherlands does not include physiotherapy.

However, urine incontinence is covered by a basic insurance policy: The basic insurance can cover pelvic physiotherapy (for a total of 9 treatments) if your main complaint is urinary incontinence, but only once you have paid for your “own risk” amount. Please note that in this case you do need a referral from your doctor. You can only make use of this coverage once in a lifetime.

Not insured

If you are not insured, or you’ve surpased the amount of covered treatments per year, the following rates apply:

• Pelvic physiotherapy treatment (30 min) €65
  Intake (45-60 min) with or without referral €120 (€55 intake + €65 treatment session)

• Regular physiotherapy treatment (30 min) €44
  Intake (45-60 min) with or without referral €99 (€55 intake + €44 treatment session)

• Phone/online appointments Same rates & duration as regular appointments apply

• Home treatments Due to our full schedule, home treatments can only take place during non regular working hours. The total cost of a 30 min appointment would be €80 + 20€ addition for appointments during non regular working hours. If you live in Den Haag but away from the area of Scheveningen or Den Haag centrum an extra of up to €50 would be charged for the trip/travelling time. Please note that your insurance might or might not cover these costs.

• Clinical hypnotherapy intake session (2 hours) €240
  Clinical hypnotherapy follow up sessions (1 hour) €120

• No-show Full amount of the missed consultation. See cancellation policy below.
  

  Payment: For patients with international insurance or not insured for physiotherapy, bills are sent by email within 1 month after the appointment took place. We don’t handle cash at the clinic.
